Dart Frog Rifle

This design is one of the core weapons in the tool kit of an Amphibious people set in a Desert world hosting thousands of tropical oases. It is a long range immobilization weapon that stuns its prey. Inspired by Poison Dart Frogs, I wanted the design to feel like it was made by a Amphibious-humanoid species that has implemented its Evolutionary roots within their advanced technology. Organic forms and Animalistic iconography as both a strategic camouflage as well as a cultural homage for this weapon's design. 
I wanted to a hard surface challenge and hope to flesh out more designs within this idea!
